Pranayama means “breathe control” – Respiration practices to control the breath

Prana is the divine energy that sustains the body. It connects the physical body, the brain and the consciousness by moving around the body, carrying over our emotions, thoughts, feelings and sensations.

Respiration is the physical manifestation of prana. Everything that happens in the body is related to breathing. Respiration is seen as the physical part of thinking, and thinking – as the mental side of breathing. Every thought and the feelings it provokes affect the respiratory rhythm. Likewise, the different types of breathing alter the rhythm of thinking and, accordingly, the kind of feelings it arises.

The breathing practices will help us to free and relax the mind, and after that we will move on to concentration techniques that will help us to sink into meditation.

The strong power of the salt will purify the aura and restore the balance of the physical body.
